DAVD Program Progresses With U.S. Navy Delivery
Coda Octopus successfully delivered 16 DAVD Untethered Systems (DUS) to the U.S. Navy during fiscal first quarter 2025 following completion of their DUS Hardening Program, for integration into MK16 Underwater Breathing Apparatus for Special Warfare (SPECWAR) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) applications.
The DUS Hardening Program, jointly sponsored by the United States Navy and another foreign navy, conducted field tests of DAVD technology for special forces field use. Delivered units included field findings from this evaluation program to allow live mission evaluations. Coda Octopus provided full support during this rollout to facilitate wider deployment to special forces markets worldwide.
European Navy Order and International Expansion
In the quarter, the company secured an order from a major European Navy known for extensive diving operations and regional influence. Delivery is scheduled for fiscal fourth quarter 2025 along with support for real-world dive missions using DAVD Tethered Systems alongside Echoscope Underwater Inspection System (UIS).
Coda Octopus completed final deliverables under its DAVD Hardening Program to its foreign navy sponsor, including four upgraded Gen 4.0 DUS units and one diver sled incorporating DAVD technology. Coda now has five active DAVD integration projects underway with funded support.
