The 47-meter pinisi sailing vessel Sharandy Of The Seas sank in the Bali Sea on the morning of December 27, 2025, after a severe storm squall struck Serangan Harbor where the vessel was moored undergoing repairs. Strong winds reaching 45 kilometers per hour caused the sailing vessel to lose stability and develop a severe list to port.

The 13 crew members aboard were unable to stabilize the vessel before it rolled over and sank. All crew were forced to abandon ship and jump into the sea, but were subsequently rescued by local responders using a small tender and taken ashore at Serangan Beach. There were no reports of injuries among the crew.

The vessel sank at coordinates 8°43'13.0"S 115°14'27.0"E according to maritime records. Authorities did not disclose whether any pollution was released from the sunken vessel.
