General Oceans, an established underwater technology group, recently announced their strategic acquisition of RS Aqua Ltd of Portsmouth UK as a supplier of oceanographic instrumentation and sensors. This move strengthens their combined subsea monitoring solutions as well as ocean technology solutions capabilities.

General Oceans Completes Acquisition of RS Aqua

General Oceans recently made headlines when it announced their acquisition of RS Aqua, marking a significant expansion into the UK underwater technology market. With 40 years of experience supplying sensors and systems across varying sectors, RS Aqua joins as its sixth operating company within General Oceans Group's six operating companies; General Oceans reported GBP 62 Million Revenues for 2023--an 18 percent growth over 2022- and employs over 300 people throughout Europe, the UK, US, and Australia.
