HD Hyundai Secures Major Contracts and Expands Globally by Late 2025

HD Hyundai recently secured three significant contracts from HMM: an order for eight LNG dual-fuel containerships worth $1.46 billion; two advanced frigates from the Philippine Navy; and plans for a $2 billion shipyard in Tamil Nadu in India - each deal reinforcing HD Hyundai's leadership position in commercial and naval shipbuilding amid global expansion efforts.

HD Hyundai Secures $1.46 Billion Container Ship Order and Increases U.S. Shipbuilding Partnership

HD Hyundai also won its biggest container ship order since 2007, taking on a US$1.46 billion contract from HMM for eight ultra-large 13,400 TEU LNG dual fuel vessels. At the same time it extended US collaboration with an MOU with Huntington Ingalls Industries and Siemens partnerships to improve American shipbuilding capabilities.
